What does the Automotive Press Have to Say About it?

"Impressive fuel economy and smart packaging give the Equinox the opportunity to become a segment leader."
-Automobile Magazine

"The Equinox rear-seat legroom simply dwarfs that of similarly priced competitors like the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V. The Equinox's long wheelbase, larger overall size (while retaining good fuel economy) will make it a compelling choice for the practical-minded families who buy small crossover vehicles."
-Popular Mechanics

"Compare interiors side by side with the chief competition, Ford Escape, Jeep Liberty, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Toyota RAV4, and the Chevy eats 'em up and spits 'em out."
-Motor Trend

"I'm 5 ft. 10, and I had to stretch to reach the pedals with the driver's seat all the way back, yet there was still room for an adult passenger to be comfortable in the seat behind me."
-BusinessWeek

"The drive is what's important to is and here the Theta-platformed Equinox delivers like its Japanese competitors don't. Despite the Michelin low rolling resistance tires, road feel is actually not too bad, body control is excellent for the segment, pushing the vehicle into the territory of car-like feel than it's predecessor."
-Jalopnik

"For those who prefer frugality over fury, the standard four-cylinder engine will surprise with its strong acceleration and quiet operation."
-Kelley Blue Book

What do Consumers say about the Equinox?

I just want to send a letter expressing how extremely satisfied I am with my 2010 Chevrolet Equinox.  I've had it for almost one year with no problems whatsoever.  I've owned a variety of vehicles from two wheel drive to all wheel drive and four-by-four.  None of these vehicles can compare with the Equinox .

Our first experience with "The Q" was a trip to Jasper, AB.  The height and visibility out of this vehicle were outstanding.  There aren't any significant blind spots, the rear-view reverse camera is something that I wasn't sure I would use, but it is an amazing safety feature.

This winter, with all the snow and ice we have had, I have never had any doubt about being able to get to my destination.  While other drivers were sliding or bouncing between the ruts, I was able to get around and through everything.  In fact, while driving down a residential street, I had to "duck" between parked cars through some very deep snow.  I wasn't travelling that fast, but when I went off the "track", snow was billowing over the hood, windshield and roof!

The fuel consumption is, to say the least, amazing!  The advertising is accurate.  I am achieving better mileage with the Equinox than I did with the Cobalt.  I realize this is hard to believe, but it's true!  I thought the on-board calculator was incorrect, but after working out the amounts manually, the computer is accurate.

All-in-all, I am extremely impressed with this vehicle and I take any and all opportunities to let people know how impressed I am with this vehicle.   I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.  The interior space is incredible.  The cargo area is spacious, easily accessible (especially with the power-liftgate) and can accommodate a lot of items.

Thank you very much for selling this vehicle to me!  If anyone has any doubts about this vehicle, please feel free to forward my contact information to them.

Sincerely,
Graham C -Spruce Grove, Alberta
