AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

• At speeds below 80 km/h (50 mph), Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a detected vehicle you're following

• Camera technology is used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver's hard braking

FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING

• At speeds below 80 km/h (50 mph) during the daytime, this feature can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you
• Provides pedestrian alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver's hard braking
• Limited nighttime and low-visibility performance

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

• Uses a brief, gentle steering wheel turn to alert you when it detects you are unintentionally drifting out of your lane lines
• If needed, you may receive additional Lane Departure Warning alerts
• System alerts do not occur if you’re using your turn signal or when it detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane

FORWARD COLLISION ALERT

• Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a detected vehicle you're following
• Can also provide a tailgating alert if you’re following a detected vehicle much too closely

FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR

• Displays the following gap time in seconds between your vehicle and a detected vehicle you're following
• Designed to help you maintain a safe following distance

INTELLIBEAM HIGH BEAM ASSIST

• At speeds above 40 km/h (25 mph), can automatically turn the vehicle’s high beams on or off according to surrounding traffic conditions

HD REAR VISON CAMERA

This feature provides an image of the area directly behind your vehicle when travelling in Reverse at low speeds.

STABILITRAK ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL

This standard system detects the difference between the path being steered and the direction the vehicle is actually traveling. It then uses the brakes and, if necessary, adjusts propulsion torque to help you keep your Trax on track.

ONSTAR AUTOMATIC CRASH RESPONSE

In a crash, built-in sensors are designed to send a signal that can automatically connect you to a specially trained, Emergency Medical Dispatch-certified Advisor who can help you get the assistance you need — even if you can’t ask for it. Advisors can use GPS technology to pinpoint your vehicle’s approximate location and contact first responders to get you help. OnStar Automatic Crash Response is included in the available paid OnStar Safety & Security Plan.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

While you steer, this feature can automatically maintain a driver-selected gap time from the detected vehicle you’re following.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

This feature can warn you of detected left or right cross traffic behind your Trax when in Reverse.

LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT

This feature can provide side mirror visual alerts when a detected moving vehicle is quickly approaching or is in your side blind zone.
